What is H.264 ?

H-264 is a standard for compressing videos, based on the MPEG-4 Part 10 or AVC (Advanced Video Coding) format.

In the Android operating system, the videos, to be executed, must be rendered in H-264 regardless of their extension.

Examples of video extensions: MP4, AVI, MOV, WMV, etc.
