How to Uninstall 4Yousee Player on Linux

To uninstall Robot 4YouSee Player on Linux, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Access the icon referring to the initial Panel, in the upper left field of the screen.
    Type the word "terminal".

Click on the Terminal icon to open it.

  • Step 2: Type the following command in the terminal

curl -L -H 'Cache-Control: no-cache' http://files.4yousee.com.br/players/new/robot/uninstallRobot.sh | bash

If you do not have the Curl installed, follow the steps in the article How to install or Curl on your PC

  • Step 3: Press Enter.

This removes the configuration files and executable for the Robot 4YouSee Player on Linux.

  • Step 4: Enter the user's password, the same one that you entered when you login on your computer.

Observation: This password will not be displayed on the terminal. You must type it and then press Enter.

Thus the Robot 4YouSee Player for Linux has been uninstalled, and the .4yousee folder disappears.
